Yabba Dabba Doo

Most of us are old enough to remember how anxious Fred Flintstone was for the 5:00 whistle - if not, I am really showing my age, huh?  Well, not much has changed since the days of Bedrock.  With the typical American work week ending on Friday at 5:00, we eagerly anticipate quitting time.  After a busy work week, here are some songs to add to your exercise music playlist.

It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere – Alan Jackson

Something More – Sugarland

Someday I’ll Be Saturday Night – Bon Jovi*

Honey, I’m Home – Shania Twain

Hell Yeah – Montgomery Gentry

Work Hard, Play Harder – Gretchen Wilson

Livin’ on a Prayer – Bon Jovi

Manic Monday – Bangles

No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem – Kenny Chesney

Work for the Working Man – Bon Jovi

*I warned you about my crush love enthusiasm for Bon Jovi.   Hope everyone enjoys  the concert this weekend!

I’m going to apologize in advance for getting this stuck in your head, but you left out the 80s classic “Working for the Weekend”!

LOL…I was also going to add 9-5 and She Works Hard for the Money but the I thought I would REALLY be showing my age. ;) Thank you for the input!

Sorry MizFit. I hope you were able to get the earworm out of your head before the day was done. :)
