Supreme 90 Day System includes a 90-day fitness plan that carefully rotates each of the five strength, three cardio and two core workouts to constantly challenge the muscles, keep them guessing and stimulate change and growth. After the first strength workout, a core workout, and a rest day for good measure, it was time for the first cardio workout in the rotation - Tabata Inferno. Equipment is not necessary for this workout; however, dumbbells are optional for one of the exercises. Again, Tom leads the workout with three background exercisers.
From the main menu, you can choose from the following options: Workout, Cool-Down and Special Features. The warm-up is part of the workout in Tabata Inferno. The Special Features option allows you to do the workout with the Music Only option. Total workout time is only forty-four minutes broken down into a five-minute warm-up, thirty-three minute workout and six-minute cool-down.
Supreme 90 Day - Tabata Inferno begins with a five minute dynamic warm-up. The body of the Tabata Inferno workout consists of four minute circuits. The circuits are broken down into twenty seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest. During the four minutes Tom selects either two exercises that will be repeated for four rounds or four exercises that will be repeated for two rounds. After each four minute circuit, you will get a full sixty seconds rest before repeating the process all over again. There are a total of seven circuits. Basic, high-intensity, moderate-to-high impact athletic exercises are used to elevate the heart rate. Exercises include burpees, mountain climbers, high knees, plyometric squats, jump squats, jump lunges, squat thrusters, push-ups, bicycles and seated twists. The workout concludes with a cool-down and stretch which is also the same for all the workouts.
Supreme 90 Day - Tabata Inferno is a high-intensity and challenging cardiovascular interval workout. The workout is nicely paced and the sequencing of the circuits makes the time fly by, though you will be working hard during that time. Tom Holland does a great job coaching throughout the workout. He uses the time during the sixty second rest to explain the exercises in the upcoming circuits. Due to the high impact nature of many of the exercisers, Tom is constantly reminding the exerciser of proper landing to protect the joints. He does a good job encouraging and motivating throughout the workout.
