Supreme 90 Day – Shoulders and Arms Review

Supreme 90 Day System Review and Details

Supreme 90 Day System is an inexpensive, easy-to-follow, total body cardio and strength workout program. The complete Supreme 90 Day System includes 10 workout DVDS that feature fitness trainer Tom Holland. Supreme 90 Day System is also accompanied by a nutritious meal plan by New York Times Best Selling Author Tosca Reno. Together, Supreme 90 Day Workout System is designed to get you lean and sculpted, all in the comfort of your own home.

Supreme 90 Day System includes a 90-day rotation calendar that carefully sequences each of the ten workouts to constantly challenge the muscles, keep them guessing and stimulate change and growth. Supreme 90 Day comes with five strength training workouts. The second strength training workout in the rotation is Shoulders and Arms. For the workout you will need a set of dumbbells and a stability ball. Tom leads the workout with three background exercisers. While Tom joins in for the warm-up, the remainder of the workout is taught trainer-student style with Tom coaching the exercisers and demonstrating form.

From the main menu, you can choose from the following options: Warm-up, Workout, Cool-Down and Special Features. There is not a play all option so the warm-up and cool-down need to be selected separately. The Special Features option allows you to do the workout with the Music Only option.  Total workout time including warm-up (five minutes) cool-down (six minutes), Shoulders and Arms workout (thirty-three minutes) is only forty-four minutes.

Supreme 90 Day – Shoulders and Arms begins with the same five minute dynamic warm-up found on all the workouts. Similar to the Chest and Back workout, Shoulders and Arms begins with a core routine that doubles as an extended warm-up. Three core exercises are selected and the circuit is performed two times through. For the remainder of the Shoulders and Arms workout, Tom selects a shoulder, biceps and triceps exercise for each set, performing eight to twelve repetitions per exercise. The set is performed for a total of three circuits. The shoulder exercises consist of lateral raises, clean and presses, shoulder presses and rear flies. For the biceps, you will see hammer curls, traditional curls, incline biceps curls on the stability ball, and 21s. Exercises to target the triceps include kickbacks, skull crushers, triceps extension and triceps push-ups. The workout concludes with a cool-down and stretch.

Supreme 90 Day – Shoulders and Arms is a well-rounded strength workout that thoroughly targets the shoulders and arms. The workout is suitable to all fitness levels as each exerciser determines the amount of weight they can handle to execute the exercises. Aiming for 8-12 repetitions per set, the exerciser is encouraged to work at their own pace. Tom Holland does a great job coaching throughout the workout. He demonstrates the moves and explains proper form for the exercises. He also does a good job offering modifications to make the workout adaptable to all fitness levels.
